Guyana's Vieira dominate motorcycle races

JAMAICA'S Stefan Chin, riding his Honda CBR 600 won the first CMRC motorcycle race at the Caribbean Invasion at Dover on Monday ahead of defending champion Guyana's Stephen Vieira.
But Viera turned the tables in the other two races clocking one minute 23.768 and one minute 24.124 seconds lap times respectively on his Suzuki.

Chin clocked 1 minute 24.071 seconds in his win.
"Stephan Chin made a couple mistakes and I capitalised on it. He opened a door and I continued to race, opened the gap, got away and went on to win," an elated Viera told Auto. "I wanted to break the track record but I did not and I am very disappointed about that [but] I am very happy I won two races out of three.'

Chin, although losing out twice, nonetheless said he was happy to be racing after missing out last year's competition.
"I was absent last year and I'm back this year and winning the first race was good. I am looking forward to the rest of championship series," he said after his first race win.
"It is big excitement and I must thank my sponsors Super WiFi, the Internet company that has helped me to come," he added.
