Would Caribbean people invest their time in a reggae/dancehall artist that comes from somewhere other than the island. We all know that you must prove yourself to the Caribbean community as a whole before you can claim to be a successful reggae artist. You can't jus come on the scene with foolisness!!
Well, there is an artist by the name of Cali P that the reggae community has embraced. Cali P was born in Switzerland and raised in both Switzerland and Guadeloupe-unique combination. Give him a chance, he may be worth the investment! He embraces what many Caribbean people would simply call 'culture'. Cali P says we are all one without division...we are all African. We may come from different islands and countries but we are all one so we should be more unified.
