Daydreams is one of the first premium all-inclusive day party of its kind in Jamaica

Partygoers in Negril and Ocho Rios get the opportunity to experience a continuous party vibe annually through Negril's Dream Weekend and Appleton Temptation Isle (ATI), as well as Ocho Rios' Easter weekend, which all offer days of non-stop partying.

This year, if the promoter's words are anything to go by, Easter weekend should prove to be a blast. There are several events being held in Ocho Rios, with Appleton Luau, Daydreams, Touch and Magnum Tropics among those scheduled for this Easter Sunday.

Daydreams, the all-white party, is highly anticipated, as the organisers are known to host successful stagings wherever the event is held throughout the year, Easter weekend included.

PJ Wright of the Wright Image Entertainment team, which puts on Daydreams, said the party's reputation ensures the success of each staging.

"We always have a consistent product, so people know what they get when they come to Daydreams. They know the standard, so it's not an 'if and but' situation; they know our standard. The fact is that there is a lot of competition out there for the Easter weekend, so what we do is have a strong marketing campaign out there and we also do promotions through radio adverts and social media to widen our reach," he said.

As a result, Wright said, one does not find it too difficult to choose between attending Daydreams or another party.

He said that proper communication and organisation of the event are also important. "Starting from about two and a half months before the event, we get ourselves together. We meet and deal with things like sponsorship, marketing strategy and possible venues for the event," Wright said.

And if that isn't enough to do the trick, the party's attractive line-up of disc jockeys is a clincher, as Wright Image has secured the use of award winners and established crowd pleasers - 'Sound of the Year' Coppershot, 'DJ of the Year' ZJ Liquid, 'MoBay's Finest' DJ Crazy Neil and 'Ochi's Finest' Timeless - to add their musical colour to the all-white event.

The premium bars and exquisite catering are also on the list of the party's standouts.

Daydreams, Beach Party, will be held at Drax Hall Beach, St Ann, on Sunday and the Wright Image Entertainment team seems to have no worries as they bank on the old saying, 'your reputation precedes you'.
