Leba Hibbert releases debut album Intoxicated

SINGER Leba Hibbert has released her debut album Intoxicated which her publicists describe as a "rare exhibition of substance over style".
"While many of today's hit-makers rely on gimmicks and novelty arrangements to score grades with generation X, the talented singer and daughter of legendary reggae pioneer Toots Hibbert showcases a vocal prowess and charm on her first outing," a news release from her publicists said.

The 15-track Intoxicated features production work from a handful of luminaries whose track records have maintained universal appeal. The album has been released on the Nyana Records imprint.

Most of the tracks were written and co-written by Hibbert. However she has included covers of Gladys Knight's Neither One Of Us and Patti Labelle's Oh People.
Original efforts include the first single, All I Want, which recently wowed the audience at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival; It's Over, Rain, Ragga Souljah and the title track Intoxicated.
Intoxicated is now available on ITunes. Physical copies of the album will soon be available in leading record stores.
